Play fair. Be kind.

SeatUp is for organizing games and building great communities. Treat people like teammates, even when you disagree about rules, game weight, or strategy.

1. Respect people, not just opinions

• Allowed: "I think this opening is too strong in 2-player."
• Not allowed: insults, harassment, slurs, threats, or targeted abuse.
• Not allowed: repeated unwanted contact after someone asks you to stop.

2. Keep content appropriate

• No sexual content, graphic violence, or content intended to shock.
• No hate speech or dehumanizing language about protected groups.
• No glorifying self-harm or encouraging dangerous behavior.

3. No spam, scams, or impersonation

• Don't flood DMs, friend requests, or listings with repetitive messages.
• Don't fake identity, pretend to be staff, or use misleading profiles.
• Don't post fraudulent links or attempts to steal accounts or payments.

4. Respect boundaries and safety

• Use block/report tools when something feels wrong.
• Don't share someone's private information without consent.
• When meeting for games, use public venues and trust your instincts.

5. What happens when rules are broken

Moderators review reports and may dismiss, warn, restrict, suspend, or ban accounts based on severity and history. We also use automated signals to help human reviewers prioritize urgent issues.

If your account is restricted, you'll see the reason in-app and can submit an appeal.
